Hello.

I did the cardinial sin, had 4 ide drives runnings raid5 on 2 channels, so
when i lost a drive I lost the channel. (never again)

I was in the process of backing up all the data, but 65 gig takes a little
while to write to tape. I almost had it all when it failed.

Out of 4 dirves, I have 2 good drives. I know the data on the 3rd drive is
still good, I just need to force the raid to come back up with no regard to
the  event timer and the superblock update time inconsistency.

I've read some howto's about recovery, most of what I've seen deals with
using ckraid and some --superblock options on mkraid (which doesn;t exist).

Can you help me force this thing to come up?

(i hope so, next step is to find the code in the kernel which kicks the
drive and modify it, but I'd rather find another way..)
