Hi,
I would be very grateful if
We only got 2 or 3 spam mails - that's about 0.001 % of the whole list
throughput. - so why talk so long about it - forget it. When we get "attacked" every
day - ok, then it's time to think about consequences.
This discussion about spam and closing the list or not - THAT generates spam. -
There was a discussion about LVM, reiserfs,... , and i need the URL or the address
for the mailinglist for fs-devel the File-system development group.
Does someone have the URL?

or somone accidentally pulls the plug, etc.
I had a server running a raid5 with 3 disks and after some power failures the system
didn't want to mount the disk again. The other - un-raided disks didn't have any
problem. - After reinstallation and adding a UPS all is fine (now for 8 months).

There was a little bit of discussion about the stability of the adaptec
2940U2W under heavy load. (like under raid).
Are these controllers now stable??? - can someone confirm the stability of
the drivers??? - does someone use these controller with raid under heavy
load???
Thanks!

Hi!
I am inclined to agree - on closer inspection, each of the IBM, HP and
Compaq have all sorts of issues when Linux comes into the equation (the HP
has I/O issues whichever platform you use)..
We have a supplier nearby who can supply me with a High Availability, High
performance solution
