Hello Sir,
Presently I have encountered with raid problem. I have 2 scsi h/d with 4G
each .
I intend to run raid1 software and using raidtool 0.90 . I have modified
the raid1.conf
and raidtab as attached and move to /etc directory. However when I run
mkraid
at /sbin it gives me this message :
device /etc/raid1.conf is not described in config file
it seems like /dev/md0 is not recognised.
Can I check with you how can I make md0 works ?
Do I miss out some steps during my linux installation ? During my
linux installation, I have
configured as followed:
sda1 1000MB (mounted as /)
sda2 256MB(swap )
sda3 2000MB (/var)
I intend to be used as same as sda for my sdb (2nd scsi h/d)
so that raid1 is performing.
Do I need to make changes to make sdb to be same as sda (eg
edit /etc/fstab) ?
