I've been currently looking into some of the scsi-to-eide raid solutions
being offered. The example that I will use here is the product located at
http://www.electronix.com/raid/.
In this setup you have a eide raid5 system with 6-10 drives, each drive
has its own channel.
So what I'm wonder is, if you use 6-10 eide drives striped with raid 5,
(one parity and one hot spare drive) can you max out the speed of the
uwscsi host adapter. (40MB/sec right?)
I'd be interested in seeing how this would compare speedwise.
