Hi all! The Software-RAID.HOWTO has been updated a lot since last. Special thanks go to Allan Noah and Yasunori Taniike for their many corrections and suggestions. The HOWTO is now written in SGML, so both HTML and Text versions are available. The URL is http://ostenfeld.dk/~jakob/Software-RAID.HOWTO/ The HOWTO is still pretty much a draft. I appreciate all comments, suggestions, corrections etc. There will probably be a section with actual performance numbers in short time. If any of you have the time, please send me bonnie + hdparm -t results along with a description of your setup (hardware etc.). Ingo: I suggest you just download the text version for inclusion with the raidtools, when you release new versions.
