Not unless you can restore the second hard drive to operation without destroying any
data on it. That's the difference between RAID-0 and RAID-1/5. RAID-0 offers no
redundancy, just the ability to create one larger device and increased performance,
whereas RAID-1 and -5 offer redundancy, so you can continue to operate when one (at
least, depending on configuration) disk dies. In future, you might want to create (at
least) two arrays on a 2-disk set: a RAID-1 array for essential system files and
data, and a RAID-0 array for less essential files.
