Hi, I am currently running RH 6.2 with the kernel sources updated to 2.2.14-12. I have installed two Promise PCI IDE cards. I would like to make a custom kernel after patching my sources with the Unified IDE Patch. Question: which IDE patch to use? After visiting the ftp site, I was a little confused over the profusion of patches available. Do I need to use a series of patches, or just one? Thanks in advance for any help. I am on my second raid-5 build now. I trashed the first one after trying to apply patches and create a kernel. I have successfully created kernels before. The Raid-5 worked OK, but I deleted or overwrote files/links in my source tree, so decided to just do a reload. Also upgraded my hardware, too : )
