State of raid in the 2.3.x kernel series

Hi All,
  I was wondering what the state of raid was in the 2.3.x kernel series. 

I am currently using 2.2.12 with a raid 0 setup which is
automatically detected at boot (by the kernel - fd partitions). If I go to
the latest 2.3 kernel (upgrading according to the Changes file along the
way) would I be able to have the same setup? If I could but need patches
where would I find these?
