Can it be done with lilo (version 21 that came with Slackware 7.0)? Had to move /boot and kernels to /dev/sdc6, a small leftover in the end of a FAT16-drive and lilo installs and boots beautifully that way. Root is /dev/md0, sda1+sdb1 RAID-0 (working great and fast, thanks guys) but as long as boot files are read from a striped md lilo complains about device 0x0900. Changing lilo.conf boot= or root= to /dev/md0 or 900 has no effect. Regards, Janne
