Yes, but they discribe that you must patch the 2.0.x kernel. And this

I've ran old MD-utils since it come out and still running it, very heavly.
I've only had major problems, when there was hardware problems, of course
there are bugs in all software. I'd say to move up tho. Use the new
raid-utils. I don't do the boot-Raid, if you're not, you should be fine,

Hello
I have to install a RAID 1 System in order to mirror all partitions (exept the
/boot partition, I think). The Problem is that I haven´t made this before, and I
haven´t found a documentation that gives me the answers I need.
There are three HowTos available the old (normal) RAID HowTo for R

Swapping on a software RAID'd partition will _break_ if the array ever needs
to resync. It's something revealed fairly recently, and has something to do
with using the buffer c

Have two drives in which all partitions are mirrored
except for / partition. My game plan is: If a drive

Hi all,
I am running a RAID-1 mirror set of two disks on our Linux server here. A couple of
weeks ago, one of the mirrors went bad. While waiting for a replacement, I ran the
mirror with a single drive, which worked fine. However, now that I have a replacement
drive, I can't seem to a
Hi,
I have been trying to set up a Raid 1 mirror using Redhat 6.0 using
stock kernel and raidtools that are included on their CD. I have tried
to follow the Software How-To & read all the newsgroups etc. including
linux-raid archives. I am not a newbie to computers but I am to linux. I

Hi all. I'm interested in information on testing my raid1 install, as well as
steps involved in breaking the mirror when one of the disks fails. I'd also
like to test and make sure it is working properly before I put it into
production...
Thanks for any info,
Dave
