Hello.
It seems that your device uses non-standard good block ratio that is not
supported by sunxi nand driver. Does it work on sdk lichee kernel?

Hello
Can you post dmesg output after inserting module?
It seems that it erase whole nand flash when somethink wrong.
Of cause it must be fixed before trying to merge it to kernel tree.

Meminfo works strange on lichee kernel: on first boot zq is 0x7f, but after

I added this fucntion to meminfo utility to get full dram register dump on

sunxi-3.4 nand format is incompatible with lichee-3.4 (sdk kernel).
You can try this port of new nand driver:

Try https://github.com/reinforce/gt9xx . It is WIP now, but you can try to
debug it.

Hi Punith,
Try run
fbset -xres 720 -yres 480 -x -a
before starting Xorg, it works for me with LCD+HDMI configuretion.
Why didn't you try 480p HDMI mode?
Regards
Dmitry

Hi Punith.
I have not tested hdmi and dual-screen on android, i only tested scaler and
it worked. Also i tried to change framebuffer size by fbset. I used
fbset -xres 1600 -yres 900 -vxres 1600 -vyres 900 -depth 16 -rgba 5,6,5,0 -a
-x
in fbcon and started Xorg after that. a10disp already uses f
I think, we need to port new nand driver to sunxi kernel as separate driver. I
have got sdk driver to work with sunxi kernel (rewrite gpio and script
fetching), but it is in /modules dir and. it is need to be integrated to
drivers tree and renamed.
Allwinner.has changed format in some cases, it
Try separate screen configuration, it is more stable. try last version of
a10disp. It has instruction to enable dual screen after boot. Disable scaler
before readfbinfo command.
If you only need vdpau support, try to fix OSD mode in patch,

Hello. It is possible to change framebuffer size using fbset. Use fbset -a
-x -xres 720 -yres 480 to reduce framebuffer resolution.
Set 480p mode on hdmi to make same resolution and use scaler of you HDMI

It seems that DRAM controller uses too much power.
While i was trying to fix mystically broken dram self-refresh mode in sunxi
kernel on my tablet, i wrote this patch:
http://pastebin.com/6My1nzqq
It allows to skip entering self-refresh mode and disabling Pll5 and avoids
crash on Wexler tab 7200
I changed code to this:
<-->sw_usb_enable_hcd(usb_wifi_host);
<-->sw_usb_enable_hcd(1);
<-->u32 pio_hdle = gpio_request_ex("bt_para", NULL);

I have unnamed A10 tablet with RDA bluetooth on serial.
Bluetooth adapter seems to be disabled by default.
In stock gpl-violating kernel it controls by /sys/class/usb_wifi/rtl_wifi/bt

I think it is impissible to run decoder and encoder at the same time because it
uses same memory regions.
But you can try to write converter you need. Decoder and encoder uses same
libraries. Try look at the sample codes and encode each frame after encoding.
Other way is decoding some count of fr
There is softfloat. It can work on armhf, bus static linking is impossible, but
you can link it to shared object and load dinamicly like libhybris (simply use
libhybris with android version.
As alternative you can use PoC opensource encoder, that can encode only I
frames. It has very hing bitrat

I have Wexler.tab 7200 with broken standby mode in sunxi kernel (in aw
kernel suspend works).
I have tried to debug standby code using RTC to trace it (i have no access
to UART now), it hangs after this lines in dram.c:
reg_val = mctl_read_w(SDR_DCR);
reg_val &= ~(0x1fU<<27);
reg_val |= 0x12U<<27
I tried to use kexec to boot kernel.
Kexec from sdk/stock kernel works only with sdk kernels, kexec from linux-sunxi
kernel works only with sunxi.
sdk' kernel is unuseful because g2d API is broken, usb sometimes crashes (NPD
somewhere in usb code).
