Oddly enough, my problem has already been fixed. That's the good
news. Thanks for the work you guys have done! Now the catch is that
I need some documentation on what the fix was for our quality system.
I've been developing a driver using the 2.4.20 kernel. Since our
product that uses this driv
I've been playing around with a sony NZ90 on a redhat 8 linux box
running kernel 2.4.20-18.8. I've had some success, and some failures
I managed to get the usb-storage stuff working with a couple of patches
(anybody want them?), so I can mount the NZ90 memory stick as a
linux vfat file system
And I really should have slept before posting patches last week-end :(
Anyway, here's one without the obvious bug I had in hcd_unlink_urb().
That's what happens when you do too many things at the same time :(
This time, it's tested on a dual CPU machine with USB kbd and mouse
and these work fine.
Thank you all for your help, the problem is solved. The diff is against
kernel 2.4.21. I hope this information helps you!

Hi all:
Are USB hubs generally sensitive to hardware and software reset timing?
Curious if anyone has fixed a problem similar to the one that I'm

Try reading the User Guide and FAQ at http://www.linux-usb.org for some

I think this is one problem with OPOST ONLCR and the
pl2303 usb usb driver (and other usb serial drivers)--
Look at the write_chan in n_tty.c. It calls opost_block()

opost() to write the '\r' and '\n', using two calls to the

hardware - windows detects any devices without any problems.
