I've got an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard (NVIDIA nForce4 chipset)
running Fedora Core 3 x86_64. Using the 2.6.9 kernel, the USB 2.0
devices I have (USB flash card reader and USB pen drive) are detected
and work fine at USB 2.0 speed. However, in 2.6.10, any USB 2.0 devices
are not detected a

I don't think so, but there are problems that appear in some
hardware configs and not others. Many folk report no problems;

OK, I recently made the mistake of buying a USB case with a drive in it
and putting my home directory on it. I have since then had multiple

Same thing: use the shared infrastructure, shrink the driver a bit.
In this case there were no "sparse" issues to address.

This makes cdc-acm use the file. It (still) passes

It also gets rid of several "sparse -Wcontext -Wbitwise" warnings; again,
