Hello,
I wanted to report a problem with Linux kernel 2.6.15.1 and uhci_hcd for USB1
on
an Shuttle AV11 board (VIA Apollo chipset, P III, 700MHz): An USB device
(connected already when the kernel booted) was not accepted ("device not

No, for me that doesn't do anything at all. Not on older kernel, not on
2.6.15.1.
I suspect that's just a fluke you're having. Do you have usbhid loaded
before you run that command? And how do you know it's working? Do you get
some output from jstest?
And finally, what distro and kernel vers

Dave:
Here's a patch that makes uhci-hcd cognizant of the may-wakeup setting
for the root hub. When the flag is on everything works as before; when it
is off all remote wakeup events are ignored and the root hub does not get
autosuspended.
It turned out to make this work properly, I had to al

Hello team,
I am testing SUSE 10 with the 2.6.13-15.7 - default kernel.
I have previously been using 2.6.11 kernel and all kernels lower no problems.
the driver itself runs fine however the firm ware load process does not.
When the device is plugged in I have an entry in the /etc/ho
Hi all,
I saw the thread started on 2006-01-10 regarding the implementation
of a driver for Philips' ISP176x. We also use this chip in a project
and need support for it under current linux kernel versions.
Just to make sure to not to focus on a topic someone else cares
about already - Is anybody
I'm having another problem with it now. This is the dmesg ouput:
