Basically - playing sound with
mplayer -ao alsa:device=hw=1 or whatever - and then unplugging the
soundcard completely wedges lsusb/usb
When plugging a USB soundcard into a USB1 port - it chokes, complaining
of lack of bandwidth.
USB bus config - doesn't get much simpler...
