I am currently planning a project around the Cypress family of 8051
based USB controllers. Typically these devices need to have firmware
sent to them before the user can make use of them.
This computer is running 2.4.32 w/ Slackware LInux. A pre release
version of 11.00. Can any of you supp
on my slackware11 the huawei e220 device is detected as mass storage
device.. i found a way to prevent the kernel from this by adding it to
the unusual_devs.h
