Anssi,
I had to put the card in to get the full output of lspci, and when I did
that...it worked! No config. Just worked. The one thing that I did
differently was not to disable the onboard USB in the BIOS when I put
the card in this time.

I just picked up a Belkin F5U220, but it doesn't seem to be supported.
lspci (without -v) said just "NEC Device".
