Redhat 7.2 actually ships with 2.4.7 as standard with errata for 2.4.9 - 
the best way to alert them to the problem is via their bugzilla site. They 
may already have released a patch as there have been two redhat kernels 
out since 7.2 was released but I thing they are patching 2.4.99 with fixes 
as they are stearing clear of .10 and later due to the new VM code.
