Did you do an "eject" of the first card before inserting the second card?

Sounds like a device that doesn't properly report media-change.
Try using 'eject' on the /dev node to signal to the kernel that it needs to
re-scan the card.

I used an xd card reader witha 16MB card and all was fine. Mounting,
reading and unmounting. But, then I took out the 16MB card and put in a
64Mb and it complained about not
