I did probably reverse the files to diff in hurry :-)
Regarding MODE_XLATE - I do not even know what it does. Meanwhile I
moved on to 2.6.9 and applied the same change - and it works fine. From
the sources, I could see that the driver is exactly issueing the
commands as I used in my ide-based driver. The only change I made to an
existing entry is (of course) the device-id and the additional
US_FL_SINGLE_LUN, because otherwise the device appears twice.
