Everything in the logs looks normal, except for the point where the stick
sends a bogus sector size.  It sure looks like that memory stick isn't 
working right.

Here's something you can try that might possibly help.  When you unplug 
the stick, do "rmmod sd_mod".  That's about the only difference I can see 
between the first time the stick is used and the second time when it 
fails.
