Dear list,

I am trying to connect my KonicaMinolta Dimage A2 digital camera to my laptop.
So far no success whatsoever, here is what I get:

.
.
.
usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using address 5
usb 2-1: control timeout on ep0in
usb 2-1: device not accepting address 5, error -71
usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using address 6
usb 2-1: control timeout on ep0in
usb 2-1: device not accepting address 6, error -71

The camera can not be seen with lsusb as well.
All other USB stuff (802.11b, card reader) works fine, though. I am using a
vanilla 2.6.9 and uhci:

uhci_hcd 0000:00:08.0: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82xxxxx UHCI USB 1.1 Controller
uhci_hcd 0000:00:08.0: irq 5, io base 0000c400
uhci_hcd 0000:00:08.0: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 1
hub 1-0:1.0: USB hub found
hub 1-0:1.0: 2 ports detected

I turned off ehci, as someone in a german Debian forum was suggesting this might
cause problems. No change whatsoever.
Can someone please point me in a direction what 'error -71' is (or ep0in, for
that matter) or what other ideas there might be to troubleshoot - I seem kinda
stuck.

TIA for your help!
   Alex
