Hi, the usb/hid-input always generates ABS_VOLUME events for volume controls. Some keyboards (like the dell multimedia keyboard sk-8135) generate relative events thou. The hid-input however ignores the flag and generates an ABS_VOLUME event anyway.
What about adding a REL_VOLUME event and generating this event, if the field is marked as relative?
