Okay Guys, I hope I am doing something wrong and this is not a problem
with kernel 2.6.
I cannot mount my USB Floppy under linux.
I am running kernel 2.6.9 on Gentoo.
Let me give some information away:
if I connect my USB Floppy, this is what I am going to see on dmesg:

I have a Logitech MX700 8 button USB mouse and the "scroll up"
button (button 4, which does the same as moving up the scroll
wheel) also triggers a button 6 event (press and release).
Scrolling up by using the wheel (also a button 4 event) works

using my 1GB usb stick up to 2.4.23 works pretty fine, now using latest 2.4
kernel I get this here (DEBUG enabled)

a bug in one of the daemons running on your system. Maybe hald or gpilot.
