You probably need sd_mod loaded. Read the User Guide and FAQ at
http://www.linux-usb.org . BTW, you should update to the 2.4.20-20.9
kernel as the one you have will not show the other card types (assuming
this is a multi-lun device), I discovered this the other day after doing a
fresh install of RH
