Does this also happen on the latest 2.6 kernel?
thanks,

Hi everyone,
I've tried updating my box to 2.4.31 recently for stability issues. The
problem I encountered is as follows:
When disconnecting or switching off my Minolta Scan Dual III USB2.0 scanner,
I get an oops (see below) and a kernel panic. This happens nearly every time
I disconnect (maybe 1

Hello everybody,
my bug report admittedly is rather a cosmetic one and the bug itself
is certainly not inevitable. Nevertheless, I think it is worth to be
mentioned (although I am not quite sure, whether this is the right
place to post it).

Hi all,
Im running Red Hat 9 with kernel 2.4.20-30.9 and am having a problem
booting when my Netgear MA111 wireless USB adapter is plugged in. During
the startup process there is invariably a kernel oops which results in the
following message:

Hi all,
I have a Minolta Scan Dual III USB film scanner. It worked flawlessly in
2.4.2x. I recently upgraded to 2.6.1 and I can no longer disconnect /
reconnect my scanner. In fact, it doesn't work at all with my scanning
software (Vuescan) anymore. Here is my /proc/bus/usb:

I get the same problems under any heavy IDE IO, e.g. when Cron jobs run,
not all the time, just some of the time, someone else has reported
errors when using IDE-SCSI.

I'm getting a kernel oops with userspace eciadsl usb driver
www.sourceforge.net/projects/eciadsl (uses the same usb code as the
userspace speedtouch driver).
I can't find anything rwong with the driver (except maybe that it
doesn't block between the control and data threads).
