*nix friendly pci graphics card wanted

Hey all, I'm after and older pci graphics card as I've got an old PII that I want to play round with. The onboard graphics chip doesn't play nice with the various *nix distro's I've tried so far. So if anyone's got and older graphics card in their box of bits that they want to either give

Loads of wonderful ideas, but the release of the Heron means that I'm going to be very busy in the next few weeks for the fellow who pays me. I just havn't got the time. Actually I think that the fact that broadband is pretty ubiquitous nowadays means that Distro archives such as ours are simply n

How do I find out? top has showed the CPU "waiting" for 90-95% of the time, for the last 10 minutes or so. I brutally killed off trackerd, but this had no visible effect. As I type this email, whatever it was has finished, but I'd like to know whether there's a way of finding out next time.
