Yes I use Mandrake 9.0 and 8.2 before that I've had very few problems with it
it's faster than most other rpm dists having been compiled for pentium or
better machines (unlike RH's 386 target). It's drake tools are very usefull
and easy to use.Gnome2 and Kde 3.0.3 Both work prefectly along with
2 Openoffice problems.
First and this has been happening since soon after I installed Mandrake 9.0
,It worked prefectly the frst few times, is that when ever the program is
loaded it loads up so you see the doc and every thing then simply dies before
you can do any thing. If it's loaded again w
amsn it's nearly identical to real thing works well on my linux machine infact
it works better through the firewall and proxy server than the real thing
does!

Gaim also supports MSN but desn't work as well and the interface is alot
different.

What method did you use to install wine? If you compiled from source useing
the wine-install script it should have set up a fake reg for you. If you
didn't I'd suggest you find and download the tool winesetuptk a wizard that

Mandrake 9 is dead easy to install. It also has a much better and easier to
use partitioning program (diskdrake) than Red hat 8 (which I'm not even sure
has one). Will also read WinXP partitions (ntfs).
Heres a quick summary of the 4-5 easiest to use linux dists.

It would appear they've removed it.

Newer versions of RPM use the command rpmbuild.

With xmms if you runing in Gnome or Eligthenment you need to use the eSound
out put plugin. In KDE the Arts one you can some times use the AlSA one
however no other application will beable to make a sound and can cause crasses
or hangs. And the OSS plugin should work in most environments but also

Or more likely if you using RD* you will want todo this.
Download and compile the latest version freetype but first make this change.

#undef TT_CONFIG_OPTION_BYTECODE_INTERPRETER
- change it
