The writers buffer is 2Mb and is set to this in the default config file. Will look into what cdrecord thinks it is. ? What's wrong with 10x? The other thing I've seen that can cause these wonderful errors is cdrecord incorrectly detecting the amount of buffer in the CDR drive.. Check that it's
