Oop's - slipped up again - should have gone to the list - sorry.

Yes it does - it usually works OK.  If there are multiple vfat partitions it will set 
up a boot entry for each one - you just need to comment the extra ones out later and 
rerun lilo.  

There was a lso a comment about partitioning. The knx-hdinstall script starts cfdisk 
and lets you edit the partitions (detructively) - so if there is an available 
partition of at least 2.3gb and a swap partition - no need to use another program.

PS - I would appreciate some assistance setting up Grub on my Knoppix install at some 
stage  but can't make it to the Thursday meeting.  So another time perhaps.

Geez, testing out my memory there. I did this a while ago and I'm sure at
the end of the hd-install script it automagically configures lilo for you.
