Hi there,
I got gifted a Cyberdrive DVD/CD-RW/R Combo drive today. I've got a
recent xine and libs plus libdvdcss descrambler, so DVD -should-
work fine. I've tested 'The Gift' and 'LOTR-TTT Extended' on it, and
The Gift works fine. However the LOTR-TTT gives this message when the
main movie tries to start...
'The source can't be read. Maybe you don't have enough rights...'
...and a few other comments about checking to see if a disc is in the
drive, and another about having trouble reading a NAV file...
I've checked the permissions on /dev/cdrom, /dev/dvd, and all seems
AOK.
I know there are a few DVD dudes in the LUG. Do you guys have any ideas
what I can do to solve this issue? Maybe its just that the LOTR-TTT EE
disc is so new that the menu fools the libdvdcss plugin. I'll try to
update that plugin, and maybe the rest of xine and report back. In the
meantime any help will be highly appreciated...
