(Sphere AF) is that after booting, the first time

I've tested this again, and I can confirm that in my case the problem
only occurs
after the first boot folowing a kernel upgrade.

Thought I would have a go at compiling a new version.
Downloaded from the new site, rmmod uvcvideo, did a make, make install.
Did not see a single error come up.

Not in my case.
I have to do an rmmod/modprobe after EVERY boot.

Just an update,
I've now upgraded to kernel 2.6.27-10 and I still get the same behaviour.
Also I forgot to unplug the camera (Sphere AF) during the upgrade process
and once again the camera just died after first boot, I had to unplug it and
rmmod/ modprobe uvcvideo in order to get it working.

I've notice some strange behaviour from the uvc driver dispatched
with Ubuntu latest kernel (2.6.27-8).
After starting guvcview in MJPEG mode everything is working fine, I then
proceed into changing the imput mode to yuv, also e
