Hi, I studied a little bit the user space tool code and I didn't find any good way to set the channel in monitor mode. An ugly hack is to add the phy in normal mode, execute an ED scan on the required channel, delete it and add it again as monitor mode but it works only the first time. Because the monitor wpanmon0 device isn't deleteable correctly and somehow the ED scan is not working on a monitor device. Unfortunately I'm not familiar in the netlink programming yet (I'm searching a good tutorial to learn it). Have somebody an idea how can I place this functionality in the code?
