Has anyone else attempted to use flash_rom on an AMD64 platform? Ollie
figured out that the BIOS offset was incorrectly set, but even after
fixing that the flash_rom program still gives us a lot of errors in 64-bit
SuSE 9 while working perfectly in 32-bit Gentoo.

The rom that shipped with s2885 should be pmc49fl004.
The flash_rom already include support amd8111 and pmc49fl004.

I don't know if the lib is 64bit. It should be. The flash_rom
should be 64bit too.

In the Suse 9 for amd64, I can not find pci/pci.h.
Where I can find the pcilib for amd64?

yes, suse includes pciutils in /sbin but no libpci.a or includes.
You have to get the pci-utils and install them yourself. I will send you
the .tgz if you wish.

It works with pm49lf004 under 64 bit.

It is highly possible that our flash part is too old.
We jsut tried to flash a 080 part with exactly the same
040 driver without any error.
