Is this a 0 ohm connection?
I think so.. (at least my multimeter in bip-bip mode shouts loud when I connect
the 2 pads ;-) = that means 5ohms in general..)
I have a little question : does someone have a more
Hello again,
i finally got my linuxbios running under my db800 development board.
I now have a problem with ethernet. When there is traffic over the
ethernet device there come a lot of r8169: eth0: link up messages
again and again. Also the datarate is very very slow (~100kbyte).
I tryed it
By the way:
dmesg:
PCI: Guessed IRQ 11 for device :00:0d.0
PCI: Sharing IRQ 11 with :00:0f.3
eth0: RTL8169sb/8110sb at 0xd000, 00:08:ee:00:ee:1c, IRQ 11
lspci -v

I compared the outputs from dmesg and lspci (-vvv) with linuxbios and
normal bios - no difference!
Also the option irqpoll doesn't changed anyhing (i added it to the grub
line of the linux which boots the final system..)

This commit removed probe_superio from v2. It has not been referenced as
svn:externals, so none of the v2 and v3 trees have probe_superio or
superiotool.
As of revision 2762, the v2 repository is still BROKEN and superiotool
doesn't appear in v3 either (checked revision 486).

Hi,
I have a spare motherboard to experiment with linuxbios. I see that each
individual component of my mobo seems to be on your supported list.
http://www.giga-byte.co.uk/Support/Motherboard/BIOS_Model.aspx?ProductID=1860
Should this be straightforward?
Thanks,
Jack

Mh, I wouldn't go that far. But it may be easy enough. :)

OT : reverse engineering a 4+ layer pcb with a 2D X-ray may still be
tricky. I wonder how it is being done professionally ?

But is the nForce4 really supported? Is it just another name for

Maybe... but it says OK on the status page.
Cool. Can you send lspci from a running system?
I did read that the DualBIOS won't get me out of trouble if I

Probably not at all. For testing the board is just put on a bed of
nails..

I've been working on adding support for the m57sli to buildrom. I'm almost

I have a general question of compatibility for the list.
I have a system that was developed by antex electronics.
It is currently booting windows ce and has General Software's Embedded BIOS 4.3.
I have tried different linux flavors and get a kernel panic (EIP?) at boot

I think I just answered my own question...
The box has a AT27C020...

Which is OTP (one time programmable) :(
And it does not look to me pin compatable with the other AMTEL
supported chips in a PLCC (i think that is the correct acro.)
Hello,
I almost have the system I have been woring on for so long now running
on the console (vga is next). Here is a recap of my hardware:

SMSC lpc47m192 Superio (using smscsuperio)
For some reason it keeps restarting over and over
