After X is running, I can't switch over ctrl + alt + f{1,2,3,4,5,6}
consoles ( the screen flicker, then blank ). If I switch to f7, where
X live, all return to normal and I can see normal X window.

Hi all,
what could be the problem here?
[r...@myhost ~]# /usr/lib/hal/hal-system-power-pmu sleep
power-pmu : PMU_IOC_SLEEP failed
(same with pm-suspend, kernel version: any >= 2.6.33. I'm now on a .37-rc).
KMS is disabled (modprobe radeon modeset=0, and I can't switch over VT).

Hello to all,
I read somewhere (ati-dri devel ml, maybe?) that suspend on aTi
machines was broken with KMS, and I have exactly this problem. It is
fixed now, so maybe I have some bad conf file? Or this feature isn't
implemented yet?
I have these errors:
[r...@jim ~]# echo 'mem' > /sys/power/stat

Yes, I looked to .old, when referring to Xorg.0.log.

We have no message, after the X.org freeze.

We tried and with 2.6.35-rc4 we could boot without video=. First goo
Hello to all.
Sorry if these aren't right place, please point me to the right
direction if you can :)
When trying new 2.6.35-rc4, our kernel team (ArchLinuxPPC) has tried
to setup KMS acceleration for radeon based machine.
We have removed radeonfb, and all others framebuffer driver, and added

Yes, use the lxr engine [1].

The PATA modules was built statically, and BLK_DEV_SD as a module (and
not included in the ramfs).
Now
Hello,
I hope I've posted to the right list.
I'm the maintainer of the linux kernel in ArchlinuxPPC [1].
We actually set statically the support for the PowerMac on-board IDE support
(under ATA/ATAPI/MFM/RLL support (DEPRECATED) ), and the disk is recognized
correctly (hda*).
