I just tried again and no zImage.inird.* gets created. I am going to pull the
newest 2.4.10pre1 changes and see if those help.

I've just received a new MVME5100 board and I'm trying to boot it under
linux.
I have downloaded the linuxppc_2_4_devel tree from the bitkeeper
repository.
I have compiled a kernel from the mvme5100_defconfig with a few
modifications.
I'm trying to boot it with nbo under ppc bug.

prep, common, simple and images. The most I can find is a vmlinux.
Hi All
I am getting an Oops: Kernel access of bad area, sig: 11 on linuxppc 2.4.8
when I telnet (4-5 sessions will do it) into my board(custom mpc860 board)
If I use Montavistas linux-2.4.2_hhl20 kernel it works(no Oops).
Any idea's?

for a IBM PPC405GP (Walnut) System. Is there a good source of information
available on how to go about doing this? Does someone have a configuration
