Any idea as to wether the MPC860 board provided by
the ESTC(which they call as Modular Development
Platform) is suitable for a Linux Port.Since the board
that i have already has some VxWorks related stuff in
the begining.How to erase that and How to download
ppcboot into to the Board?

Which is the most stable linux kernel available for
the purpose of porting to MPC860. I am trying to port
Linux to a MPC860 MDP board provided by the ESTC.

Hai All,
My First mail to this group.Not a master , only a
newbie ,so please bear with me.
I have successfully compiled the binutils, gcc for
powerpc. Now I went for compiling glibc, which is
giving some problems, so I left it and proceeded with
compiling the kernel.
Now it is giving following err
