Eclipse OProfile has been fully internalized so there is no exposed API. I know that the OProfile remote work uses parts of Eclipse OProfile, but if the goal was to propose this as an addition to become part of the plugin, then this won't be an issue.
I'm wondering if there are other plugins that consume parts of Eclipse OProfile. If necessary we could look into exposing those portions as required.
