idget does.
You may want to check the output of 1.2 PS, if the voltage is low (it's
adjustable), the current load will rise. My Lisa2 with a 1.2amp PS and an
internal HD has been running daily since 1991 proving the unit can be
reliable.

Does your system have the screen mod installed? (7/7 will not work if the
screen mod has been performed). HTH,

aused problems). So it was always
recommended for a 2meg config, that an Apple 512K was used in mem slot 2
(closest to the edge of the card cage) and the Sun Card with 1.5 Megs in mem
slot 1. Also you must use 256Kx9 SIMM's (with parity bit) on the SUN card,
most Mac SIMM's of the time are 256Kx8
system. Also be careful hooking up the drive, SCSI termination
issues abound on the SUN SCSI card (just like a real mac plus).

I have seen PFG's and MW+II disks sold on ebay lately as separate items and
this makes no sense to me, the PFG is part of the MW+II package.

anything? Thanks in advance.
Apple only made MacXL's with a 10 meg internal drive. Sounds like you have
a converted Lisa2 (maybe an early prototype) with a later SunRem 20 meg
widget drive. Since Lisa's have no internal parallel port, they had to run
the cable outside the case to us
t; check first?
If the I/O card was swapped from an other unit, check the Floppy controller
ROM ver. You may have the 800K ROM for a 400K drive or vice-versa.
Hope this helps,

I don't think so, just might not sync up correctly.

Yes.

to look for when buying a Lisa (they very different than macs).

QuickBoot is a ROM & Custom PAL upgrade for the SUN SCSI card. It allows
you to boot MacWorks right off the SCSI boot drive. No need for the Boot
floppy! Works with MacWorks Plus and MacWorks+II.
