I really dislike getting personal on these lists, but this
matter has gotten out of hand, and must be addressed.

Jim Fleming has started emailing lots of people lately
with the request that his statement in the DNS Voices
section of Media Visions be removed. He has sent his
removal request to Esther Dyson plus all of those who
contributed to that report. (The report was prepared in late
1997 to help Esther Dyson get up to speed on DNS issues,
this after we met and talked in Denver during her book tour,
and today those diverse statements are mostly outdated),
[SEE: http://www.media-visions.com/newdom1.html)

Jim's also making remarks about dark motives, and he's
apparently thinking I'm really Esther Dyson (see below),
plus he's sending emails to me personally with ideas
that only he understands (an obsession with 4 an 8).

I am quite happy to delete his contribution to the report,
and i will do my best to get this done ASAP, but I wonder
why JIm can't quite get it into his head that the webzine
is a solo project, that I'm the only person producing the
publication, that it's really pointless for him to send his
requests to others, that Esther Dyson does not run my
web magazine. that I'm the only person responsible,

Jim, I've told you privately, and now I tell you publically,
please get grounded in reality. And, I repeat, please
don't bother others with things that don't involve them.
Your confusion here only harms your own credibility.

And to those of you being emailed by Jim Fleming,
while I'm not accountable for his irrationality, I still
apologize, nevertheless, that's he's bugging you.
