Hi, that was it!!! Great tip, thanks a lot. I had the recycle/on statement included turning it to /off solved the problem. So I think my feeling was right that it might be the garbage collector. Anyway, I hope we can solve the problem in the near future to get the garbage collector fixed. BTW: Is there a possibility to see how much memory is used by Rebol? Robert
