Web Developer/ Client Liaison and Support
A well organised person is required to manage the implementation and support of web-based application software to existing and new university clients in Australia and New Zealand. This is a semi-technical role where you must have excellent organisational skills and either a knowledge of CSS / XHTML / design, or an aptitude for learning technical skills.

A well organised person is required to manage the implementation and support of web-based application software to existing and new university clients in Australia and New Zealand. This is a semi-technical role where you must have excellent organisational skills and either a knowledge of CSS / XHTML / design, or an aptitude for learning technical skills. Technical training can be provided although it is expected that the successful application would have some grounding knowledge.

The position mostly involves communication and support for University Careers service staff via phone and email. Typical tasks will include; advice and help on using CareerHub software, altering graphics, preferences and settings, modifying CSS style sheets and preparing SQL scripts for database updates. You will be required to liaise with two different groups of people being: Careers Service Staff and University IT / technical staff.

Other occasional tasks include:
* web interface design
* XHTML and CSS coding
* Flash development

You must be well organised, self -motivated and an independent worker. This is a semi-technical role - you will not be required to work directly with programming code apart from XHTML and CSS although you will be working alongside a small team that consists of programmers and graphic designer and you should have a general understanding of both these roles.

Visual Eyes Creative is a relaxed and flexible work environment located on Brunswick Street in the Valley. This role is primarily involved with our CareerHub software which is currently used by 32 universities in Australia and New Zealand. You may occassionally be asked to do tasks for non-CareerHub clients.
