Yesterday at Battery Beach I saw a lot of cars with a silver air cooled
motor controller. I made a note that it is called Logic Systems, but I
can't find them on line. Does anyone have a link to these motor control
people?

I think you have all the questions and concerns about gears that many of us
have.
You can just jump in based on the experience of others or you can do the
math and get a good idea what will happen. Some of the EV books discuss
this and there are web sites that help, search for "ev calculations".
While the meeting yesterday had no real topic I learned a lot about public
charging in a discussion with Charles. I think others learned a little
about the implications of the National Electric Code Article 625 which is
about charging EV's and conduction charging sites.

The interior is really where you will be spending most of your time with the

under the hood.
Just my thoughts,

My EV project is about 3 months into the design stage. I am looking into

My EV project is at month 3 of the planning and design level and I share
some of these concerns.
As your article points out there have been a lot of production EV out there
that work on older proven technology.
I believe that consumers would complain if there new expensive EV had NiMH
batteries and
miss a properly designed DC motor conversion as
lack-luster.
I can think of one particular black EV with DC motor(s) and no tranny that
can keep you in your seat all the way down the road.

My initial thoughts were to get a sound but older car for conversion.
I have realized that y first conversion will probably not be the last and My

Does anyone know the patent number(s) involved?
