Daniel, Most of the time when people experience an "event handler does not get triggered" issue, the problem is an error in the code that causes a crash that doesn't get displayed. Are you sure that the event is triggered? Can you attach a debugger to it?

When I attach the content type to a list or library it fires and works as expected, but against a content type nothing happens. I thought I would see if anyone else has tried to attach an event handler to a content type and if there are any known issues? I have tried to register my event handler using both "Event Handler Explorer" and writing my own deployment code. The event handler is attaching to the On Update event, and the content type is attached to a page in a publishing site. Any help would be great.
