Hi, Leaking raw water pump is a fairly consistent reference, and if it is so equipped an engine oil cooler. Your raw water pump feeds, as you said salt water, and your closed system was intact per your description. Personally I'd get it to a dock where I would do any work. If you were taking water in from the exhaust then and overheat, or if coming in from the stern, piston and valve damage if not a bent rod or two. Carl
