I know it seems fairly obvious to follow Ubuntu's instructions but having

release.
It's mostly a conceptual thing, but I'll try to explain it...
The stable-1.0 branch is dynamic/changing, it gets b

Why doesn't sf just link there?
The critical components fix various crashes. So they are not minor,
they are very important fixes that are crucial.

myself) would have caught this problem. The branc

If this is all part of an automated script that we need to provide a direct
download URL to, then we should upload a new bundle to SF, i.e. 1.0.0.1
assuming the build

Well that's the same thing basically... if it's marked as 1.0.0, then it
should have 1.0.0... as it was when it was r

I don't think you should change the file on the homepage. It should
probably stay as it is, as it's meant to be a snapshot of LMMS at the

You can get the latest source of stable-1.0 from git:
https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/archive/stable-1.0.zip
It's in zip format, but that shouldn't matter, if you need specifically
a tar
Email me the tarball of the source and I will upload it to SF.
Let me know when you have a built stable package of 1.0 and we can then
take things from there in regards to the SRU request.

Unfortunately this source is unacceptable, as it doesn't reflect the
fixes present in stable. I will have to add in patches and rebuild again.
I think the source package on sourceforge should reflect the actual

use submodules.
As everyone is aware we are going to run into an issue with the master
branch and importing it into launchpad since we are using submodules.
