So should we simply add something of what you know now to the docs? > It might be good to include a section "Build log4cxx HEAD from svn" on the > web page. I can do that. I've already added such a statement on the autotools page explicitly mentioning the use of autogen.sh in such a case. I don't think a complete new section is necessary, because regarding my tests that was the only line I needed to execute additionally. > Is there a simple way to build the html documentation locally? "mvn site" should generate the site and apidocs only, but you will need Maven. But that should be a problem, just download a current version, extract it somewhere and optionally at that folders "bin" to the PATH. in the end you get "target\site" with the new content and can execute index.html directly. https://maven.apache.org/download.cgi Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Thorsten Schöning -- Thorsten Schöning E-Mail: thorsten.schoen...@am-soft.de AM-SoFT IT-Systeme http://www.AM-SoFT.de/ Telefon...........05151- 9468- 55 Fax...............05151- 9468- 88 Mobil..............0178-8 9468- 04 AM-SoFT GmbH IT-Systeme, Brandenburger Str. 7c, 31789 Hameln AG Hannover HRB 207 694 - Geschäftsführer: Andreas Muchow
