Is there a timetable for implementing the rolling file appenders/date
driven appenders? I think it is one of the most important component, and
one that we need to use it in a live environment.

periodically, it can even be optimized to collect
client entries together, open that clients log files, spit out the
entries and go on to the next client, thereby having only one file open
by the process at a time.
