Hi Eugene, Chainsaw v2 is available in the jakarta-log4j cvs module (so not the sandbox one). You will need to use Ant to build and run it at this stage (use the 'chainsaw' target) At the moment this new version does not support playing sounds, but I have to say that is a great idea. I had plans

Hi By using log4j, we have encountered a problem related to the DefaultRenderer (this problem may be solved/ answered yet, but we did not found any comment). Why do you not catch a Throwable thrown in toString of a message Object? We would prefer a solution that emits e.g. a warn(ing) message
